As I wrote in my previous post, I attended the FrOSCon last weekend. For a first-time-event it went very well and even the number of about 300 visitors is acceptable.

I had a lot of discussions at my CCC-table, especially about politics and the lost of our privacy. But there were also several people who remember me as a Gentoo developer only. They thought I would show Gentoo there, but wondered about the CCC-stuff on the table…

It was nice to meet five other Gentoo devs (dertobi123, zypher, wschlich, tove, stkn) and I heard good feedback for dertobi's talks (I want to set a link to http://www.scherbaum.info/~tobias/?site=vortraege but the blog-software b2evolution does not allow because of it's stupid antispam-table) about Gentoo and especially the second one, „Gentoo im Unternehmenseinsatz?“ (in German only).

I hope that this event will take place next year again. Probably with a focus on a developer meeting, like FOSDEM.
