New blog :D

Well, the HDD in my server failed, taking the blog down with it, 'til about a week ago, I never did anything about it... But! I ended up poking beandog for a nice shiny Gentoo blog :D (Which I now, obviously, have ;)).

Soo, anyway... Whilst I was blogless, I did a whole load of work (ish)... Did a couple of amd64 keywording/stabilization sprees, and with the help of a couple of other members of the amd64 team, managed to bring down the number of amd64 stabilization bugs from >100 to around 20. Success IMHO B). But! Since I've been away (due to exams and such), the bug number has shot up again... Looks like I'm going to have to do some more work...

Xfce-4.4.1 was released, and I stabilized it on Gentoo/AMD64. Great fun :). Whilst I'm on the topic, the Gentoo Xfce team are planning on revamping the project overlay in the near future, so keep your eyes on this space ;).

On the Gentoo/FreeBSD front, we welcomed back an old member, one who I'm sure that a lot of the Gentoo Planet readers will remember: the Legendary Flameeyes! ;) So, yeah, he rejoined the Gentoo/FreeBSD project, and will hopefully sort out a whole load of stuff for us :).

Just a couple more things before I STFU ;)

Next Saturday is Bugday! And you'd all better join in! Or I'll stop hugging you. 'k? Excellent. So, #gentoo-bugs on irc.freenode.net, Saturday 2nd. Be there or be square (Hrmm, maybe you're all "square" anyway... *hides*).

Also, I've got myself an account on most of the IM networks (with the exception of Yahoo...):
Jabber: welpie@jabber.org
ICQ: 490140301
AIM: welp@01welp.co.uk
MSN: welp@01welp.co.uk

Feel free to add me :)
